Abstract(in English) Recently, the demand for broad bandwidth communication networks is rapidly increasing. Low cost and mass-productive optical communication components are strongly required. The concept of"Optical integrated platform"made by glass press-molding method was shown in this paper. The fundamental characterisitics of optical fiber guide grooves and optical waveguide each fabricated by glass press-molding method were discussed. These results suggest the excellent potentials of this concept for optical commnication components.
