Abstract(in English) Performance of distributed feedback(DFB)solid-state dye laser is evaluated for the integrated tunable lasers.In the present study, a three-dimensional stripe waveguided structure using a dye doped PMMA waveguide on a PMMA substrate is considered, and multi-stripe as well as single-stripe lasing action is attained.Two different techniques were used for fabricating DFB grating structure, namely, holographic technique and prefabricated technique for the permanent grating.Holographic technique has an advantage of tuning operation, by changing the incidence angle of the interfering pump beams.On the other hand, the prefabricated structure showed improved output and spectral characteristics.Tunable operation by using a multi-stripe structure with different grating periods prefabricated onto it can also be expected with this approach.
