Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A high-power Raman fiber laser(RFL)with maximum output power of 2.24W/1484nm is obtained using a continuous wave(CW)8.4W/1064nm Yb-doped double-clad fiber laser(DCFL)as a pump, phosphorous-doped fiber(PDF)and cascaded cavities made with fiber Bragg Gratings(FBG). RFL performance for the PDF lengths output mirror reflectance was experimentally investigated by observing maximum output power, slope efficiency, threshold power, and full-width at half maximum at the second Stokes wavelength. High-efficiency broadband(1434-1527nm)continuous-wave supercontinuum with average power of 2.1W is obtained when 350m singlemode fiber and 50% feedback FBG at 1484nm were spliced to 2.22W/1483.4nm RFL.
