Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Single FIR-photon can detect by using a semiconductor quantum dot (QD) in high magnetic fields. Electron energy of QD's in high magnetic fields splits to Landau levels. When Single photon is absorbed by QD's, electron-hole pair is excited by cyclotron resonance. This pair bring the change of the conductance through QD's. The attained senstivity (NEP~10^<22>W/Hz^<1/2>) promises that the detection scheme will be used to develop a useful FIR-photon detector for application.
