Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Pulse timing fluctuations of a mode-locked Cr:LiSAF laser have been reduced by locking the pulse repetition frequency to a stable crystal oscillator. A digital phase detector was employed to detect the phase difference between the laser and the reference. Low-and high-frequency components of the error signals are fed back to a piezoelectric transducer and to a laser diode injection current, respectively, for controlling the laser cavity length and the pump power simultaneously. The rms pulse timing jitter of 7.5fs has been obtained for 25mHz-10kHz bandwidth.
