Operation of injection-seeded terahertz parametric oscillation

Abstract(in English) A THz-wave parametric oscillator (TPO) using a LiNbO_3 crystal pumped by a Q-switched Nd:YAC laser is widely tunable THz-wave source in the range between 1 and 3THz. The linewidth of the THz-wave is, however, typically 50-100 GHz without dispersive elements in the cavity. To achieve narrow-linewidth operation, we used injection seeding of a TPO for the first time. The spectral linewidth of the THz-wave was reduced to less than 680MHz which was the resolutionlimit of the measurement.
