| 抄録(和) | 一般家庭に対してネットワークの必要性が取り沙汰されるようになってきた背景を述べ、具体的にホームネットワークとして国際的に規格標準化が進んでいるが、その経緯および今後の動向についてはじめに述べる。次に、そのホームネットワークの物理的なメディアとして取り上げられているプラスティク光ファイバについて考えてみる。さらには、家庭内でのコンテンツについて取り挙げ、具体的な伝送容量(スピード)はどこまで必要になってくるのか考えてみたい。最後に、ホームネットワークが発展して行くために必要なドライビングファクタ・フォースについて考え、そのためのシナリオを示す。 |
| 抄録(英) | The necessity of the network would be currently discussed more seriously even in the home. The current situation and the future trend of the international standardization for the home network, which are concretely considered at the several international standard bodies, are slightly mentioned. Plastic Optical Fiber (POF) which would become important as the physical media dependent of the home network is generally mentioned. Focusing on the contents in the home, it is discussed how wide the bandwidth (transmission speed) would be necessary. Finally it would be discussed about the driving factor or driving force and the scenario in order that the home network would be realized expansively. |
