Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recent developments of DWDM optical communication systems show great progress. In these systems, the band pass optical filters, which have the pass band width of 0.8nm and the small cross talk, are used. Such a band pass optical filters were realized with dielectric multi-layered films which have more than 3 cavity for optical resonator. But, in the production of these optical filters, very accurate film thickness control, which is less than l/10000, is requisite. On the other hand, the optical filters, which are composed from two or four 2 cavity band pass optical filters and piled, show the film thickness accuracy of l/10000 and the small cross taIk.
