A Study of Multimedia Network Design using POF

Abstract(in English) This paper introduces a multimedia network using plastic optical fiber(POF), and presents a general strategy of the multimedia network design. The first half of this paper reports the realization of POF multimedia network. In the near feature, various systems are connccted each other in the identical network by optical communication. Therefore, the view point of the network design is proposed in second half by using the system connection theory and classifying the streaming data in the total network system.
