THz spectrometer using laser-pumped tunable THz-wave source

Abstract(in English) The frequency region between light wave and millimeter wave is left behind until now as an undeveloped field. It is therefore highly expected that new phenomenon would be found in various research fields. Especially for the spectrometry in 1-3THz region, it only has light source with weak spectral intensity, so that difficulties were always attended with it. In the paper, we propose a compact and high luminosity THz spectrometer using tunable THz-Wave parametric generation (TPG) of LiNbO_3, which covers the frequency range of 1-2THz.
