Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We propose an optical microphone system using characteristics of spatial coherence of a laser. This system measures diaphragm displacements of a microphone by means of the self-injection phenomenon of a laser, we use an optical phase demodulator and electric signal processing so that it can measure diaphragm displacements more than wavelength of an optical source. We show properties of the proposed system and derive the ratio of signal-power to noise-power of output electric signal.
