Wavelength-Switching in the Mode-Hopping Phenomenon of Visible Semiconductor Lasers

Abstract(in English) In this work, we have considered mode-hopping phenomenon in relation to wavelength-switching and applications of this phenomenon, which was previously considered as one of the causes of noise in semiconductor lasers. We have also demonstrating experimentally the electro-optical switch, logic and memory operations by modulating the injection-current in the infrared laser diodes and light feedback power in the visible red ones.
