Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We observed terahertz radiation from high-Tc superconductors and explained its mechanism as an ultrafast supercurrent modulation. Comparison between simulations based on rate equations for superconductivity and observed terahertz radiation waveform revealed that an intrinsic recombination life time of optically excited quasiparticles is shorted than 300 femtosecond at low temperature and increases with increasing temperature at near the transition temperature.
