Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Novel femtosecond pump-probe measurement technology was developed, which was based on rapid delay-time scanning and phase-locked dual chopping in megahertz frequencies. The method has an advantage of measuring a femtosecond optical response trace in a acquisition time 1/50 as short as that in the conventional pump-probe experiments. As an application of this technology, time-spectral traces in nonlinear optical responses of semiconductors were measured and analysed. The measurement scheme in time-spectral domain leads to precise characterisation of spectral shift induced by ultrafast absorption modulation.
