Abstract(in English) | Hybrid integration of semiconductor optical amplifiers(SOA)on a PLC platform is a promising candidate for achieving various kind of optical components required in future WDM networks. This paper shows newly developed techniques for the SOA hybrid integration on a PLC platform. It also describes an application to the high-speed optical wavelength selector module which is applicable to packet by packet switching. |
