Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We show a method to converge the phase conjugate reflectivity of the four-wave mixing to one of its multi-solutions for the first time. The phase conjugate reflectivity calculated by steady-state analysis has at most three solutions with a certain coupling strength. Then, we analyze the temporal behavior of the four-wave mixing with consideration of the phase difference of interaction beams, and show that two values of the reflectivity among the three can be selected by controlling the initial condition of the phase difference. In addition, we represent the state transition diagrams of the four-wave mixing and suggest a possibility of an all-optical switch or all-optical memory by the photorefractive four-wave mixing.
