Abstract(in English) | Passively mode-locked distributed Bragg reflector (DBR) lasers with an intracavity saturable absorber were monolithically fabricated. A nearly transform-limited pulse train with a duration of 2.3ps has successfully generated at a high repetition rate of 33GHz. Furthermore, hybrid mode-locking was achieved with applied RF power to saturable absorber region of this laser. The timing jitter was evaluated 0.7ps under hybrid mode-locking opratior. and the locking bandwidth was about 16MHz. |
