Abstract(in English) We have studied the electro-optic Q-switching of a frequency doubling KTP crystal. It is possible to achieve few kW green pulses in diode pumped Nd:YVO_4 miniature lasers. In order to evaluate the composite cavity effect for Q-switching operation, we used a 500-μm solid-etalon in this laser. Four times enhancement in the slope efficiency was obtained.
