Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) As an infrared high-power light source at ~3μm an injection seeded KTP optical Paramtric oscillator (OPO) pumped by a Q-switched Nd:YAG laser has been realized. As a seeder oscillator, low threshold enegy below 75μJ was realized with single mode oscillation at 1.57μm. As a power oscillator, 1.57μm signal and 3.29μm output energies 5mJ and 1.2mJ, respectively. Resonable agreement was observed between experiment and theory. This OPO system will be used as a light source of the long path absorption laser radar for measuring atmosphericmolecular distribution.
