Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Frequency shifted feedback laser (FSFL) is a laser which contains an acousto-optic modulator as a frequency shifter inside the cavity. We are investigating the oscillation mechanism by using a diode-pumped Nd:YVO_4 as a gein medium. Remarkable informations were obtained about the oscillation characteristics, espetially the unique oscillation spectrum. In this paper, the rate equation for FSFL was obtained and by using this equation oscillation mechanism was analyzed. The analytical results are coincident with the experimental results about the mode structure and the spectrum.
