Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this report, we derive one of the nonclassical properties of the optimum measurement states which construct the optimum detection operators describing the optimum signal detection processes in the quantum signal detection theory. 2, 3, 4-phase shift keyed signal sets composed of coherent states are considered here. Probability density functions of a quadrature amplitude are investigated for them to find the quantum interference effect which is the essential phenomenon reducing the error probability in quantum signal detection process.
