Abstract(in English) A cw mode-locked Ti: sapphire laser was efficiently frequency doubled with an external cavity. Second-harmonic output powers of 1.28W and 860mW have been generated with fundamental pulse widths of 1.5ps and 320ps, respectively. Here we will describe the detail of the experiments and its application to deceleration of an atomic beam.
