Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Erbium doped fiber lasers have been actively studied as optical sources for ultra-high speed optical communication. In this report, we analyze the performance of actively mode-locked fiber lasers by including nonlinearly and group veracity dispersion which were not taken into account in the Siegman's mode-lock theory. The design rule of ultra-short pulse generation from actively mode-locked fiber laser is derived from this analysis
