Abstract(in English) We report spatially resolved Photo-luminescence (PL) spectra from the single quantum dot (QD) and quantum wire structure, grown by selective growth method, using a near-field scanning optical microscope (NSOM). Mapping spectrally resolved near-filed images reveal clearly the differences of each structure. We estimate the effective region of carrier capturing at a specific confined state of the QD structure to be about 300nm. The near-field optical properties of QD, fabricated by Stranski-Krastanow growth method, are presented as well.
