| 抄録(和) | 筆者らは, 共振器の複屈折により直交直線偏光で発振する内部鏡633nmHe-Neレーザにおいて, 外部光注入による偏光スイッチングに関する研究を行った.1モード及び2モード発振時における偏光スイッチング特性に関し, 注入光の光強度, 周波数掃引方向及び各直交偏光面間の共振周波数の大小関係を変化させ, 詳細な実験とシミュレーションを行った結果, 両者の特性が良く一致した.そして, これらの結果より偏光スイッチングは, 注入ロッキング時に生じ, その特性は注入光の光強度に比例する周波数ロッキングレンジ, 周波数掃引方向, レーザ共振器の位相の異方性による偏光分離周波数及び注入光による媒質利得の変化に大きく依存することを明らかにし, 合わせ偏光スイッチング機構の検討も行った. |
| 抄録(英) | This study is polarization switching characteristics by external injection light in a 633nm He-Ne laser with internal mirrors which is linearly polarized in one or two orthogonal directions attributed to intracavity birefringence. The polarization switching is investigated by several injection power levels, scanning frequency direction and the relation of resonant frequency for each polarization in detail. The calculated results are well agreed with the experimental results. Polarization switching is occured in frequency locking and the switching characteristics depend on the frequency locking range which is proportional to the injected power and scanning frequency direction, the variation of injected extra gain added to the net gain and the polarization-splitting frequency caused by the phase anisotropy in the laser cavity. Moreover polarization switching mechanisms are discussed using the above results. |
