Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) It is possible to fablicate an miniature optical semiconductor multiplexers with corner reflectors and a sub-micron wide input aperture. To confine the input lightwave in a sub-micron region tightly, the overall size of splitter can be reduced. We have investigated the geometrical size of the muliplexer and compared it with conventional AWG. From the result it appeares that in all grating orders this multiplexer can be realized smaller than theorical minimum size of conventional type.
