Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Optical fibers with properly programmed dispersion map allows propagation of non-linear stationary pulse called quasi-soliton, which is characterized by reduced nonlinearity with help of the periodic variation of chirp. We derive dynamical equations for parameters of the quasi-soliton in order to apply them to study its transmission property under wavelength division multiplexing. Frequency shift as well as chirp shift due to collisions among quasi-solitons in different wavelength will be presented.
