Abstract(in English) A theorctical model for analysing circularly bent slab waveguides is proposed. The pure bend losses estimated by the conventional method using conformal transformation technique and this model are found in good agreement. However, analysis of propagation properties in circularly bent waveguides show's that the present model has some advantages over the conventional one, if the reflected waves have to be considered.
