Abstract(in English) In recent years, studies are under way for optical interconnection based on optical parallel transmission, for ATM switching systems and parallel computers having a high data transmission rate. In this review we describe optical devices of which, low-skew GI type 12-count optical ribbon cord and multiple-fiber push-pull type MD connector (direct connector onto optoelectronic transmitter/receiver array modules capable) for optical parallel transmission.
