Abstract(in English) The fifth Trans.-Pacific Cable (TPC-5) network and the twelfth and thirteenth Trans.-Atlantic Cable (TAT-12/13) network has already been available, which has the transmission capacity of 5 Gbit/s by bit interleaving the STM-16 signal of the two FFRNs. We have developed the compensation method of the STM-16 signal's phase deviation generated in the process of the timing reference redundancy switching, and confirmed the MRTIE were lower than 100 nsec between the two FFRN outputs.
