Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The signal pulse shape dependence of transmission performance in 10 Gbit/s long-distance optical amplifier systems using dispersion management was studied by numerical analyses and circulating loop transmission experiments. It was clarified that a duty factor less than 0.5 was suitable in both single channel and WDM transmission systems.
