Abstract(in English) | Optical parametric oscillators (OPO) are now widely recognized as practical devices for the generation of coherent radiation that is continuously tunable over exceptionally large spectral ranges. We have demonstrated a continuous-wave optical parametric oscillator pumped by a diode-pumped, single-frequency, intracavity-doubled Nd: YAG laser. This oscillator provided tunable range from 1040 to 1090nm by angle tuning of KTR and from 943 to 1216nm by temperature tuning of LBO. We believe, to our best knowledge, this is the widest tuning span ever demonstrated in CW-OPO around 1μm. |
