| 抄録(和) | V溝上で光ファイバを対向させ接続する方式を用いた2×400SM光ファイバスイッチを開発した。V溝基板は、セラミックスの板に400本の溝が250μmピッチで形成されたもので、その一方には被選択測光ファイバ400本が接着固定され、他方仁はモータで移動するステージに固定された2本の選択測光ファイバがアクセスする。被選択測光ファイバの先端部は精密に斜め切断され、また、先端部は接着剤の無いフリーな状態とした。接続の際には、選択測光ファイバがV溝にアクセスし、被選択測光ファイバと対向すると同時に、両方の光ファイバはメカニカルにV溝に押し付けられ、軸合わせ精度を確保する。さらに、スイッチ内部をオイル状屈折率整合剤で満たし、接続損失0.4dB以下、損失再現性0.1dB以下、反射減衰量40dB以上を得られた。 |
| 抄録(英) | A 2×400 SM optical fiber switch has been developed, which has axial optical fiber alignment mechanism In a V groove array. 400 V grooves are formed on a ceramic base in a 250μm even pitch. 400 optical fibers are fixed by adhesive on one end, 2 optical fibers held on a transferring stage driven by an electric motor approach the other end. The ends of the stationary optical fibers are cut obliquely, are kept free from adhesive as well. On making connection, the 2 mobile optical fibers get Into certain 2 V grooves. then the pairs of the mobile and stationary optical fibers are pressed mechanically. This makes alignment accuracy higher. plus, the Index matching oil filling the cavity of the optical switch makes reflection lower. As a result, we have got 0.4dB of maximum insertion loss. 0.1dB of repeatability, and 40dB of minimum return loss. |
