Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We describe a linearizing methods of the optical frequency sweep of a laser diode for high-resolution FMCW reflectometry. The rectangular signal synchronized with the modulating triangular signal was superimposed on the triangular signal. The response lag of the optical frequency sweep at the turning points of the triangular signal can be compensated by the rectangular signal, and therefore the optical frequency can be linearly swept. The linearly frequency-swept laser diode by the method was used as a light source in FMCW reflectometry, and the spatial resolution can be improved by 4~8 times than that before superimposing the rectangular signal.
