| 抄録(和) | 戻り光による過剰雑音を低減できるレーザとして自励振動レーザが開発されている。しかし、自励振動レーザでも条件によっては戻り光雑音を低減できない場合がある。また、自励振動が戻り光によってうける影響や戻り光雑音の発生する条件もまだ明確にはされていない。そこで今回、4種類の自励振動レーザにおいて戻り光距離と戻り光率を変化させて、過剰雑音の発生条件を実験的に求めた。その結果、戻り光雑音の距離特性において雑音の増加する条件が2つまたは3つの領域に分けることができた。それぞれの領域は自励振動の周波数やその強度の変動により特徴づけられた。そして自励振動パルスと戻り光パルスの位置関係から各領域における現象を説明した。 |
| 抄録(英) | Self-sustained pulsation semiconductor lasers which are less influenced by the optical feedback from surface of the optical disc, are under development. However, the feedback induced noise is not reduced when operating the pulsation lasers under some operating conditions. Furthermore, neither fluctuation of the pulsation nor a condition of generating the excess noise by the optical feedback has revealed yet. In this work, we show a generating condition for the feedback induced noise basing on changing the reflecting distance and feedback ratio for four different types of pulsation lasers. We classify the induced noise into 2 or 3 regions in the dependence on the reflecting point. Each region is characterized by fluctuation of the pulsation frequency and spectrum power. The characteristic at each region are explained in terms of the time difference of the feedback pulse from the self-sustained pulse. |
