Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The diagnostic performance in FMCW reflectometry considering the nonlinear optical frequency sweep of the semiconductor laser used as a light source was discussed experimentally and theoretically. The interference signal in the FMCW reflectometry was analyzed by using the time delay of the optical frequency change of the laser. It was found fhat the interference spectrum spreads out in low frequency region, and consequently, the spatial resolution is degraded. It was also found that the spatical resolution is degraded with increasing the location of the device under test.
