Abstract(in English) To realize optical subscriber network systems, we have been developing hybrid integrated and low cost optical transceiver modules using a Planar Lightwave Circuit (PLC). We newly developed an ONU 1.3/1.5μm WDM transceiver module for ATM-PON systems which based on ITU-T G.983.1 specifications. Applying a V-shape waveguide pattern, we suppress optical and electrical cross talk respectively, which causes power penalty under full duplex operation. In addition, using a spot-size-conversion-LD (SSC-LD) improved high temperature characteristics, a high optical output power of the module at +85℃ is also achieved. We have confirmed that the performances of the newly developed optical module meet both specifications of ITU-T G.983.1 Class B and C.
