Abstract(in English) We propose a polymer-coated hollow fiber for delivery of the 2nd harmonics pulses of Q-switched Nd:YAG laser. The silver plating process was improved to obtain a high uniformity in the silver layer so as to suppress a scattering loss for the laser light with the 532-nm wavelength. The straight loss of the improved fiber with a 1-mm bore size and a length of 2-m was 0.5dB. Delivery of the laser pulses with a peak power of 10MW and a pulse energy of 80mJ was performed with the polymer-coated hollow fiber purged with He gas having higher breakdown threshold than air.
