Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Optical crossconnect technology for routing multiplexed optical signal is being studied extensively. In this report, we describe structures composed or tree-structured optical switches with optical tape fiber used for interconnection to reduce the number of inteerconnections. Finally a optical cross-connect node architectures, using this type of device, with spatial layer or wavelength cluster are proposed.
