Effect on Nonlinear Behaviours in the Ferrite Phase Shifter

Abstract(in English) This paper described the nonlinear dispersion characteristics in the ferrite phase shifter. The characteristics were analyzed approximately by sloving nonlinear Helmholtz equation with higher term of rf magnetizetation and were estimated numerically. It was shown that the power dependence on the dispersion characteristics differed with modes and frequency bandwidth. The ferrite phase shifter was fabricated using polycrystalline YIG slab and the power dependence on phase was measured in the experiment and it was compared with theory.
