Abstract(in English) When light beam emitted from a single longitudinal mode laser diode (LD) is coupled to a waveguide device by lens optics, the LD suffers from instability of the longitudinal mode due to the reflected light from both the facets of the waveguide. on order to reduce the reflected light from the waveguide, we propose to use the waveguide with window structure that the end points of the waveguide exist inside of facets. The optimized structure of the waveguide is discussed, wherein the intensity of the reflected light of the fundamental wave and the guiding loss of SHG wave is minimized, while the coupling efficiency is kept as large as possible, We also demonstrate the stability of SHG with this structure.
