Abstract(in English) | It has been reported that traffic self-similarity in wired network exsists and results in degradation of the network performance. On the other hand, the self-similarity, which is one of the complex system's phenomena, also exists in cellular system traffic because of the layered structure and interdependency between system components in the cellular system. In this paper, we show that the traffic self-similarity in cellular system which is caused by the interdependency results in degradation of the system performance in terms of intercell handover characteristic by computer simulation. |
