Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have proposed the layered demodulation which requires no side information for adaptive modulation and shown that it can be used for the series which has decision points on the lattice points (QPSK, 16QAM, 64QAM and so on). This paper shows that 8PSK, which has the best efficiency in the constant amplitude modulations, can be demodulated with the same scheme as QPSK and BPSK. We proved it by computer simulation. We also show that the performance of 8PSK can be improved using layered demodulation.
