| Abstract(in English) | Currently, systems such as ADSL^1, CATV, wireless LAN for 2.4GHz, IrDA, and Bluetuooth are used for high-speed Internet linkage or Home appliance network. Because the newly developed Low-speed & high-speed Power Line Communication modem utilizes existing power lines(low-voltage power service lines and indoor wires)for transmission channels, however, new wire installation is unnecessary. This paper explains that some issue items and a global trend of Power Line Communication, and examples of practical Low-speed and High-speed Power Line modem systems. |
