Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The digitized information treated in house is increasing rapidly in recent years, so that the demand for home network is also increasing. High-speed power-line communication(PLC)using high-frequency bands is paid attention as a promising method for the home network, because its cabling cost is free. However, its research is not popular in Japan due to the restriction of regulation, i.e., the allowed band is from 10kHz to 450kHz. The channel models of Japanese power-line environments in the high-frequency band have not reported yet. In this paper, the impedance characteristics of household-appliances and power-line channels are measured in the high-frequency band, i.e., from 70kHz to 35MHz. And the transfer function of the channels are also measured and these results are shown.
