Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper presents synchronous acquisition methods using code-orthogonalizing filters(COFs) in asynchronous direct sequence(DS)/CDMA over multipath fading channels. In this system, the tap coefficients of COF are controlled to othogonalize to all users' sequences including the desired user's spreading sequence. Several probable synchronous phases are selected by using the difference of correlation value between the tap coefficients and the desired user's sequence for each phase. Then, the most probable synchronous phase is decided from these phases by a previous proposed precise acquisition system. In this paper, we apply the proposed system to detect multipath delays over multipath fading channels. By computer simulations, we show improvements of the average acquisition time in the proposed system for several conditions.
