Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, the effect of a preamble is evaluated for the Spread-Spectrum Pulse Spacing Modulation (SS-PSM) system using even-shift orthogonal sequences by the computer simulation. In particular, the probability of detection of a preamble and the probability of block error are discussed. Consequently, it is found that the probability of detection depends on the pattern of preamble. The PN sequence, which has low non-periodic autocorrel ation, is effective as the pattern of preamble.
