Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) To clarify indoor propagation characteristics in wireless LAN, we carried out measuremets of signal level variations due to human motion. at 1.3GHz under several business environments of office room. In the experiment, a quarterwave length monopo1e antenna with omni-directional pattern was used as the transmit and receive antenna.Measured data were statistically analyzed on probability density and cumulative time distributions. The Paper describes the comparison between measurement results and calculated ones among five statistical distributions-normal, log-normal, Rayleigh,Weibull and K, and also diversity effects. In additdion, it has made clear the mechanism of signa1 level variations in multipath environments of office room, based on the measured data of shadowing effect of human bodies in an anechoic chamber.
