A Study on FH/M-ary Multilevel FSK System in Power-line Communication

Abstract(in English) FH system seems to be more advantageous than DS system from the point of view of the noise as a burst impulsive noise causes strong disturbances in time domain however in frequency domain only a narrow band portion of the impulsive noise spectrum causes disturbances at a given instant. Main demerit of the FH system is considered to its small information transmission rate. To increase the information transmission rate remarkably FH/M-ary Multilevel has been proposed. In this paper its application to the power-line transmission are studied and several calculated results are given.
