Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We propose a convolutional coding and soft decision Viterbi decoding method applicable to Parallel Combinatory CDMA. We propose that branch metric for each 4bit is calculated by weighting output levels of eight correlators to introduce bit interleaving and soft decision method to PC-CDMA. Result of our simulation to transmit a 1.92Mbps data stream at a chip rate of 7.68Mcps using this method shows a less than 1.0E-5 under multipath Rayleigh-fading interference environment.
